Rev Rob met Amanda Hoover when they were ministers with the Institute for Spiritual Development (ISD). Amanda served with ISD in Oneanta, NY, while Rob was at ISD in Washington, DC. They recognized a spiritual kinship soon after meeting, and it was Amanda who showed Rob how to create a podcast (including this one!) using Anchor, now Spotify for Podcasters! The two have collaborated several times, including Amanda's "Net of Love" podcast, and a couple of spiritual celebrations with their Spiritual SuperPAL Renee Guidelli, who is featured in episode 1 of this podcast.

Amanda may be busy in all her roles, including mother, educator, school administrator, spiritual leader, and spiritual initiate, but she is fully present in all of her many endeavors, and graciously "all in" with lively spiritual discussions like this one on this episode. Enjoy!

Roy and I met through one of my other Spiritual SuperPALS, Hilary Loewenstein, after she participated in a drumming circle he was leading. Soon after our electronic introduction, Roy began leading our "HeartBEATS" drumming circle at the Institute for Spiritual Development, the church of which I was pastor. Roy has a deep sense of Spirit that awakened him in his early adulthood, and came to full manifestation as began his journey of recovery in his 30's. I was delighted to have this discussion with him, and learned many things about him and his journey for the very first time.
