Do you hide in the bathroom just to breathe? Feel stuck in a cycle of burnout, mom guilt, and starting over? Wonder why you love Jesus but never grow because you're too exhausted?

Hi, I’m Bethany. I’ve walked through crushing overwhelm, anxiety, and seasons where my faith felt distant. Through scripture, surrender, and learning to truly hear God’s voice, I found real peace—and now I help Christian moms do the same.

Each episode offers biblical encouragement, practical faith tools, and simple ways to grow closer to God in the middle of motherhood.

Ready to go deeper? I offer 1:1 Christian spiritual growth coaching for moms who want clarity, peace, and confidence in Christ, and are ready to go from believing to a real relationship.

  • 53. Finding Hope After Child Loss | A Christian Mother's Story with Jill Sullivan
    2026/07/08

What happens when every parent's worst nightmare becomes reality?

In this deeply moving episode, I sit down with Jill Sullivan to talk about the loss of her daughter Hannah, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer at just 16 years old and passed away one year later at the age of 17.

Jill shares Hannah's incredible faith, the difficult journey through diagnosis and treatment, and the heartbreaking reality of learning to live after the loss of a child. We discuss how grief impacted her faith, marriage, and family, as well as the questions so many grieving parents wrestle with: Why did this happen? Where is God in our suffering? How do we keep moving forward when our hearts are broken?

Jill also shares how God used her family's story to launch While We're Waiting, a ministry that now provides free retreats, support groups, and biblical encouragement for bereaved parents across the United States and beyond.

    In this episode, we discuss:

❤️ Hannah's story and her courageous faith journey

    2026/06/24

Do you ever feel like you're fighting a losing battle as a mom?

Whether you're a stay-at-home mom or a working mom, the pressure can feel overwhelming. Society tells us that motherhood should be our entire identity. We feel guilty if we're not doing enough, showing up enough, creating enough memories, or giving enough of ourselves.

But what if we've been focusing on the wrong thing?

In today's episode, we're talking about what happens when motherhood becomes our identity instead of Christ. We'll discuss why God calls us to put Him first, how to ask God to reveal hidden idols in our lives, and why focusing on our relationship with Him can actually make us better moms.

If you've been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, discouraged, or like you're constantly falling short, this episode is for you.

    Scriptures discussed: • Matthew 7:3-5 • Psalm 139:23-24 • Matthew 22:37-38 • John 15:5 • Galatians 2:20 • Colossians 3:3 • Proverbs 3:5-6
