Another special in English.
This year marks 60 years since the beginning of the Cultural Revolution in China - a period of modern Chinese history that left an enormous mark on the country and its people.
We're delighted to talk with Tania Branigan former China correspondent (2008-2015) and current foreign editorial writer for the British newspaper The Guardian.
Tania is the author of the book Red memory: The Afterlives of China's Cultural Revolution, and will help us understand why the Cultural Revolution is still important today, some of the people and cases she focuses on in her book, and also why the current Chinese leadership wants to control the narrative surrounding this period in China's history.
