This week the crew welcomes back fellow podcaster, producer, creative, and digital strategist Corey Kareem to fill in while SB is still away. Things get spicy early as the crew question Corey's perspective as someone who grew up outside of Toronto's core, after he compares Toronto to London. As they transition to the second segment they share some thoughts on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander being celebrated in his hometown of Hamilton Ontario, and receiving the key to the city. In addition to congratulating him it triggers a conversation where they also speak on his choice in partner, and whether living in Canada influenced it (34:35). Sticking with sports they take a few minutes to highlight the special run the hometown baseball team Blue Jays have been on, and local tennis talent Victoria Mboko winning the National Bank Open after defeating US star Naomi Osaka (46:04). Before moving past sports they share some views on American track and field athlete Sha'Carri Richardson being in the news after an airport incident where she was captured on security camera hitting her boyfriend. They then dissect when, if, and how it's ok for a man to ever put hands on a woman (53:05). In their relationship topic for the week Pree asks the guys what the equivalent would be for them when it comes to men getting flowers for a female, this then launched an interesting conversation where they discuss double standards in society. (1:11:43). In the last segment they have some fun as Corey introduces his new game '3 Questions' Conversation Cards for Over Thinkers.
