    Space for Friends is going on a break for an unknown amount of time, which means this will be the last episode with Julien and Flin for the time being.

    But you’ll still get a full episode of Space for Friends like you know it, with laughter, deep thoughts and first and foremost, a space for two friends to talk about life.

    We’re thankful for everybody who has been listening to us over the past two years and for being part of this little space we’ve built together.

We talk schedules, routines, tactics, and the idea of designing an “ideal week” that leaves room for alone-time, recovery, and the things that genuinely give us energy. Along the way, we reflect on adjusting our mindsets making time for ourselves even when life feels packed. And, as always, there are plenty of detours from neighborhood stories and a little book presentation to Flin’s story of creating the perfect gift for a friend. A conversation about finding a better rhythm, making space for yourself, and figuring things out.

    This week we get into the uncomfortable side of being online and supporting 'strangers', what it feels like to watch scandals unfold in real time, from the Logan Paul incident in 2017 to a more recent situation involving one of Flin’s (now) former favorite content creators and cases of physical abuse (allegedly). That leads us into a bigger conversation about fandom, putting people on pedestals we don't actually know, and the difficult question of whether we can truly "separate the art from the artist".


    A somewhat heavier episode, but still very much in the spirit of Space For Friends, including honest conversations, questioning perspectives, and making room for lighter moments too, including visits to cinemas and photo exhibitions, Julien’s search for a new apartment with his girlfriend, and a little full-circle moment.
