In April 2018, a terrible blizzard hit the better part of the state. After a long labor and emergency C-section, Ann and her husband learned that daughter, Emily, had undetected heart defects and needed to be transported from Oshkosh through the storm to receive treatment at Children's Wisconsin. After four long days, the Potratz family could be reunited and remain close thanks to our Ronald McDonald House.

When an accident with a powerwasher had then 15-year-old Brett Jedwabny fighting for his life, all that mattered to parents Tyler and Nicole was being by his side. From the darkest days to his road to recovery, our Ronald McDonald House offered the Jedwabny’s support, normalcy and a chance to be a family.

When families have to travel for their children's critical medical care, their worlds are turned upside down. Our Ronald McDonald House is there to take care of these families, offering the comforts of home and a community of support when it's needed most.
