Saint-Saéns isn't known for his choral works, but there are several "French delicacies" that he penned worth performing, exploring, and discussing. Calme de nuits is one of those pieces. The beauty of this piece comes from it's simplicity. In this episode Kam does a composer profile of Saint-Saéns, Drew joins to discuss the work from a more technical standpoint, and we get to hear Sound of Ages' recording of the work from May of 2025, to be released as a single coming up soon!
