We've even heard evangelists such as Franklin Graham confidently recite John 3:16 in television commercials, stressing that salvation is for "whosoever believeth" just before they lead you in a prayer to invite Jesus into your heart.

But have you ever wondered, "what exactly is belief?" Or, "is it really as simple as just recognizing who Jesus is?" Or. "if I merely agree with that fact, am I then saved?" Which brings you back to the first question - "what is belief?"

With a growing trend of "exposure" or calling of those with influence and responsibilities into account, it seems that there is also a growing trend of dismissing any attempt of questioning leaders in the body as "gossip" and "slander". Or worse, classifying those whistle blowers as "accusers of the brethren". But, what does that actually mean? What actually classifies as "gossip"? What exactly is "slander"?
