Socialism has arrived in America. In case you haven’t noticed, the Democratic Party is being taken over by socialists or, dare we say, communists. Many are running in Democratic primaries - and winning. They’d like to get rid of the police, or even prisons, and while they’re at it, they wouldn’t mind dumping the President and the Senate too.
On this episode of Some Things Considered, Jennifer Meadows, Richard Moore, and Curtice Mang take a look at the new American socialists. Perhaps, they aren’t even socialists at all, but really fascists.
We’ll discuss the history of socialism, communism, and fascism from Marx to Lenin to Stalin to Mussolini and Hitler - there just isn’t much difference - and what it’s doing here in the United States in the 21st Century. Let’s just say, those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it.
