What happens after you set a boundary — especially when the other person acts as though nothing ever happened?

In this solo episode, I’m talking about the part of boundaries we don’t discuss enough: what happens when someone who has hurt, criticised or repeatedly disrespected you comes back into your life expecting the same access to you, without any apology, accountability or acknowledgement of what happened.

We’ll talk about why invalidation can be so incredibly draining, the exhaustion of constantly defending your experience, when taking a step back from someone may be necessary, and why time passing doesn’t automatically equal repair.

Most importantly, this episode is about learning to trust your own experience — even when the people around you don’t validate it.

Because you don’t need a unanimous verdict on what happened to you in order to decide what treatment you’re willing to accept going forward💜
