This episode we deep dive into one of the most influential matches in American wrestling history, the Do Fixers v Blood Generation, Trios Tag Match from ROH Supercard of Honor in 2006

Joining me is Suit Williams from SuitWilliams.com and Voices of Wrestling. As well as discussing the match itself in today's episode it we discuss the history of lucharesu, how Dragon Gate came to be and the enduring influence of the style that this match introduced the American crowd to.

Thanks specifically to the work on Voices of Wrestling about Dragon Gate, if you want to dig deeper then these two articles are well worth your time:

King of Pro-Wrestling is in the books, and it was a show full of great matches and moments. Jeremy Donovan and the “Young Boy” Josh Smith review the full Ryogoku Kokugikan card, including Yota Tsuji vs. Ryohei Oiwa for the IWGP Heavyweight Title, Gabe Kidd vs. Shota Umino, and the return of Kenny Omega. They also recap the Road to King of Pro-Wrestling and the Knockout Brothers' IWGP Tag Team Title victory. The boys also discuss why the current influx of AEW appearances is good for the Tokyo Dome and the future of NJPW.
