In our 2nd episode of season 5, we host Florence Namaganda, the Founder of Mukisa Foundation. This episode highlights the organization's work in Uganda, addressing the deep-rooted stigma and negative beliefs surrounding disability. The foundation, named "Mukisa" (meaning "blessing" in Luganda), seeks to transform the narrative that children with disabilities are cursed or a burden. The foundation now serves over 6,000 children across four locations, offering comprehensive support.
