  • The Night Shift at the Trestle Bridge Motel — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/07
October 1999. The Trestle Bridge Motel outside Red Bluff, California, where Luna worked the front desk for three months. She remembers the room that called down at 2:47 AM, the woman who checked in without a car, and the sound that came through the walls after midnight. This is about the guest who never left, the maintenance man who quit without notice, and what Luna found in the ledger when she looked up room 8's history. A story about empty parking lots, flickering vacancy signs, and the kind of quiet that makes you check the deadbolt twice.

  • The Filing Cabinet in the Basement of the Middleton Public Library — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/06
In the summer of 2017, Luna spent a sweltering July working the late shift at the Middleton Public Library. The building itself was old, built in 1923, and the basement — where the archives were kept — always felt ten degrees colder than the rest of the building. One night, she found a filing cabinet in a corner she’d never noticed before, labeled simply 'LOST AND FOUND — 1952–1972'. Inside were manila folders, each containing a single photograph of a person and a handwritten note. The notes were all in the same careful cursive, and they all ended the same way: 'I am still here. Please come back.' Luna started to notice that the faces in the photographs looked familiar — people she saw around town, people who never seemed to age. And then she found a folder with her own name on it.

  • The Diner on Route 9 at 2:47 AM — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/05
It’s late October and the air smells like wet leaves and cold metal. A truck stop diner off Route 9, somewhere between Harlow and dust. The waitress is named Della, and she knows the regulars by their coffee orders — black with a headache, one sugar and a lie. I stopped there because the gas light had been on for twelve miles and my head was full of static. But the man in booth four didn’t order anything. He just sat there, watching the door, his hands flat on the cracked vinyl tabletop like he was holding it down. Della told me not to look at him. She didn’t say why. I looked anyway. His eyes were the color of a bruise you can’t remember getting. He smiled, and his teeth were all wrong — too many, or maybe too sharp, or maybe just the wrong shape for a human mouth. He didn’t blink. He didn’t breathe. And then he spoke, and his voice came from the bathroom, from the jukebox, from the static of the kitchen radio. He said my name. Not the name I gave Della. My real name. The one I haven’t said out loud in years. This is the story of what I did after that, and what I found in the truck stop bathroom, and why I still check my back seat every time I get in the car.

  • The Dry Well on Gifford Lane — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/04
It was the summer of 2017, the hottest on record for western Nebraska, and the town of Ainsworth was slowly coming undone. Luna's cousin Owen had moved into a rental farmhouse on Gifford Lane, miles from anywhere, to escape the heat of the city. But the heat followed him, and so did something else. He started hearing sounds from a dry well in the backyard—not water, not an animal, but a voice calling his name. When Luna visited, she heard it too. A woman's voice, rasping, pleading, asking to be let out. But when they finally opened the well, there was nothing inside. No body, no bones, no water. Just a long drop into blackness, and the voice now coming from the bottom of the stairs inside the house. This is a story about the heat that won't break, the calls you can't ignore, and the door you should never open.

  • The Silos at Sampson Flats — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/03
Luna revisits a memory from the winter of 2019, when a friend of a friend called the Sleep Paralysis Hotline about a recurring visitor in her bedroom. The caller lived in a converted grain silo on the outskirts of a dying Kansas town called Sampson Flats. Luna drove out there herself, met the woman, and sat in that round room while the sun went down. What she saw in the silo that night wasn't the visitor the woman described — but something older, something that had been waiting inside the walls long before the building was a home. This is not a story about sleep paralysis. It's a story about what fills the space when you hollow out a place.

  • The Holloway Road at 3:14 AM — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/02
In the fall of 1997, a woman named Margot Holloway started calling the Sleep Paralysis Hotline every night at exactly 3:14 AM. She said a man in a gray hat stood at the foot of her bed, never moving, never speaking—just watching. Luna takes the call one night when Margot's voice sounds different. Tighter. Wrong. And when she asks Margot to describe the hat, the man on the other end of the line—the one Luna thought was just a listener—tilts his head. This is a story about the line between witness and prey, about the thing that waits not in the dark, but inside the conversation you thought was private. Set in a clapboard house on a dead-end street in rural Ohio, recorded live from Luna's own nightstand as the cord trails into shadow.
