Do you ever ask yourself, "Umm am I doing something wrong? Did I mess something up?" Well, you're not alone in that one. I find it really easy to blame myself for things that don't go my way, even when I pray. The reality is that God doesn't need our permission to do things, especially when we want him to do it in ways we expect. He's a gentleman and loves to surprise us- even if it's in a way that rattles expectations. God sees things we don't see. He hears things we don't hear, and he knows us better than we know ourselves.

Jesus doesn't promise us an easy life (John 16:33), but he does promise us his peace. You're not alone in feeling like this; life is hard, but he's our provider. THIS IS FOR YOU

Have you ever asked yourself, "Okay, I feel like maybe I know what the Gospel is, but do I really understand what it means?" Listen here. I get it. It's a "Christanese" word, and sometimes it loses its power because Christian culture waters down the gospel. SOOOO actually, the Gospel is for YOU! Not just for the person beside you who seems like they have it all put together. Jesus came for you! BUT, when we do know the Gospel, and when we have Jesus, we have a task to go and share it with others.

I never want to sugarcoat the truth; I love talking about topics (as a Jesus-follower) that may be overlooked. Trust, life isn't easy. But there is so much joy in learning about the character of Jesus.

In a season of Thanksgiving, many people struggle with actually feeling grateful. What do you do when the world tells you that gratitude is based on circumstances? It's okay to not always FEEL thankful, but understand that Jesus is our ultimate gratitude. Things don't always make sense, but God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). LOL I would be lying if I said I was always grateful- but this is a non sugar-coating podcast; as followers of Jesus, we understand that God has a higher calling for us, despite how we may feel. You're not alone, even when everyone else seems to have it all together.
