April helps us see that ambition can be ethical, holy, and collaborative. That kind of ambition doesn’t ask, “How do I get ahead of everybody else?” It asks, “How do I honor God while I grow?” That shift changes everything.

Scripture Reflection

We can see this balance in the lives of biblical leaders like Joseph and David. Joseph had dreams, but he also had to endure process, betrayal, and timing before those dreams came to pass. David was anointed as king, but he still served faithfully, worshiped deeply, and waited on God’s timing.

Both men had vision. Both men had a calling. But neither one was meant to use their calling to dominate others. Their stories remind us that true elevation in God’s kingdom is never separated from character.

That is the invitation for women in sisterhood today: lead boldly, but stay meek. Build faithfully, but stay teachable. Grow publicly, but stay privately submitted to God.
