Girl… PASS ME THE BIBLE. 📖 Because we need to talk about the woman at the well—and baby, I think we owe this woman an APOLOGY.

For years, many of us have heard that she went to the well at noon because she was ashamed. That the other women didn't like her. That she was hiding because everybody knew about her relationship history.

But wait…

WHERE DOES THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAY THAT?!

John tells us it was around noon. John tells us about her five husbands. But the text never tells us why she came to the well at that hour.

And here's where the story gets even better: Jesus already knew her history before He ever started the conversation.

He knew—and stayed.

He knew—and talked to her.

He knew—and offered her Living Water.

He knew—and revealed Himself to her.

Then the woman so often remembered for five husbands went back into town saying, “Come, see a man…” And people came to Jesus because of her testimony.

So maybe we've been more interested in her relationship history than Jesus was.

🔥 Her history was information to Jesus. It wasn't her identity.

And by the end of John 4, everybody isn't talking about her husbands…
