He writes,
"Dear Tiff,
I came across your site and submitted a question on a whim. There are a ton of groups out there but asking for help isn’t always comfortable. My former partner is missing, on purpose, which has put a major strain on the kids who are 18 months and almost 4. She left about a year ago missing most of the kids' milestones. We are not married but lived together as a family. I’m struggling and they don’t understand. How do I protect them if she turns up again? What are my options?
