Every year thousands of young hockey players are drafted to a team in the CHL. Some make it some do not, but for most players it's not a straight line to archive their goal.

Ben Pickell recently finished his junior hockey career playing for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League. His journey to get to this point was a rollercoaster with many challenges along the way.

In this episode of the Sideline Podcast we explore Ben's journey from being drafted to the OHL to now playing at Robert Morris University.

The Pickering Panthers have made it to the national championship against the Brooks Bandits...

This game presents numerous challenges for Pickering. They are playing their third game in 3 days and lost 9-1 to Brooks last meeting.

The Panthers know that to beat Brooks that have to do something different.

In this episode we put a bow on Beyond the Buck and dive into the Panthers game plan to try and win the Centennial Cup.

The Pickering Panthers and Wellington Dukes met in the 1st round of the OJHL playoffs. Pickering came in as the 3 seed in the east conference.

Pickering took 4 straight games to sweep the series. They will face Stouffville next round.

On this episode the Panthers face their toughest test yet. A game against the best team in the country the Brooks Bandits.

After a key overage player was suspended Pickering plays a do or die game vs Flin Flon in the quarterfinals. The players know that any loss now would mean the end of eight of their teammates careers.

The Pickering Panthers have won the Buckland Cup and are headed to Estevan Saskatchewan to play for a National Championship.

The Panthers are pleasantly surprised at how good they actually are compared to the other JR. A champions from other leagues.

In this episode Pickering played their first 2 games against the Red Lake Miners and the host Estevan Bruins.
