"There are things born of hatred that hunger for the world."

Welcome back to the Cozy Midnight Collective. Tonight, we open a heavy, high-action historical dark fantasy file: Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark.

Set against the backdrop of 1915 Georgia, we dive deep into a world where a cinematic premiere unleashes a cosmic, reality-warping evil. We break down the beautiful, rhythmic ancestral magic of the Ring Shout, the visceral body horror of the multi-eyed "Ku Kluxes," and the unforgettable bond between Maryse, Sadie, and Chef.
