Welcome to “Should’ve Gone To Therapy,” Where two friends in their 30's share the real, the raw and often funny moments of navigating life’s ups and downs. From balancing demanding corporate jobs, with personal ambitions to staying fit, exploring new places, and figuring out relationships, we’re here to talk about it all.

Each episode is a laid-back conversation where we reflect on our own stories, the lessons we’ve learned, and how we’re using those lessons to level up. We’re not experts, just two people trying to make sense of this journey—figuring out how to grow, get better, and still enjoy the ride.

So, if you’re looking for a podcast that feels like chatting with friends over a drink. One that’s insightful, relatable, and maybe even gives you a nudge to reflect on your own path, then you’ve come to the right place. Tune in, kick back, and let’s get into it together.

  • Should've Gone to Therapy EP018|| We’re Back… And We’ve Got A Baby
    2025/08/06

We’re back, and so is Nana, with a very big life update. In Episode 18, the boys catch up after the break and dive into Nana’s new chapter: fatherhood. From sleepless nights to what’s changed most, we get into how he’s adjusting and what the early days of being a dad really feel like.

Naturally, Cookie gets pulled into the deep end too with some honest thoughts on his own future and whether kids are part of it.

    Then… it gets weird.

To understand babies better (obviously), the boys take on a baby food tasting challenge and Cookie does not take it well.

  • Should've Gone to Therapy EP017|| Out With The Boys, Embracing the Spectrum
    2025/07/02

With Nana away again, Cookie takes the pod outside for something a little different. Joined by first time guests Ace and George, plus returning menace Nigel, the boys hit London Fields for an outdoor calisthenics workout, a press-ups challenge, and some much needed sun.

Between reps and banter, there’s chat about gym motivation, training with your boys, and what makes movement feel good for the mind, not just the body. Ace drops a classic line about embracing the spectrum, and honestly… he might be onto something.

It’s loose, it’s light, and it’s definitely better watched than just listened to.

🎥 Best enjoyed on YouTube for the full vibe.

  • Should've Gone to Therapy EP016|| Nigel’s Off the Bench & Was Winston Churchill Jamaican?
    2025/06/25

Nana’s out, Nige’s in, and things get chaotic quick. Episode 16 kicks off with the big questions:

Was Winston Churchill Jamaican? Would you rather be funny or smart? And if you were 18 again…are you picking uni, or saving yourself the debt?

Then, the boys stumble into something deeper: are you coasting through life without realising? And how do you even know when it’s happening? Nigel opens up about his approach to goal-setting, which involves dire consequences and some serious self-pressure to stay on track.

It’s a little bit of madness, a little bit of therapy, and a lot of Cookie and Nigel just throwing thoughts at the wall.
