At the age of 23, Michelle was a mother of two. But one night, everything changed. She awoke in her ten-year-old body, in a reality where her deceased sister was very much alive. The shock was immense, and the initial belief that it was all a dream slowly gave way to the acceptance of a new, parallel existence.

The transition wasn't easy. The atmosphere felt different, colors looked different, she had a deep longing for her kids and she had a knowledge of things yet to happen, like the heart wrenching knowledge of her sister’s impending fate because she had already experienced it. At the time Michelle didn’t have language of what happened to her, but she knew it was life altering.

This isn’t a case of time traveling and going back to the past per se, it’s a case of shifting into a parallel reality. Will things pan out the same way, will she be able to stop her sister from experiencing a tragic fate?

And most importantly how has this experience shaped her.
