I don't even know where to start with this one. Long story short, this guy had a rough childhood. With that said, it looked like he was trying to get his act together, he went off and joined the USMC (Marine Corps). Behind the scenes though, he was breaking into women's homes and raping them. I think that he liked the hardware store a lot because he used a 2x4 piece of wood to beat the crap out of his victims. That was until he upgraded to a metal pipe. The story is terrifying as well as disturbing to think that there are still people out there that choose to victimize others.

This case is straight out of a horror movie. A parent's greatest fear is something happening to their child. This monster abducted children, tortured, and abused them. His plans were to build a torture chamber in his house to keep the children until he was finished with them. I am going to note that Scott gets pretty heated when presenting this case due to his feelings about people like Lewis Stephan Lent Jr.

This guy committed murders in Oregon, Washington, and Florida. Side note: Scott managed to call him the wrong name for the entire show, right up until the end—good times. Now, more about DARREN! He moved around frequently while his dad was in the military, and some claim this led to his nomadic lifestyle. We call BS on that, but what do we know. Some victims were abducted, while others were lured back to their homes, where he’d have sex with them before robbing and killing them. Definitely a piece of work.

Amazon has nothing on today's killer. I think that he was ahead of his time. Gary here would kill and then package up his victims in various packages including mattresses, boxes, and barrels. What gets us the most about this one is that unlike most of our other killers, Gary was raised by some good folks. He wasn't raised poor, starving, etc., like so many of the other stories that we have featured. By all accounts, it sounds like he was raised in a pretty good family.
