Sensiones en la Casa – Opening Credits (Beginning)

Formed in 1994 in Burzaco, in the southern outskirts of Buenos Aires, Gente del Barro was born from friendship, factory work and a shared passion for music. What began spontaneously among workmates soon became a band deeply rooted in its neighbourhood and shaped by the realities of everyday working-class life.

Their first live performance took place at Laguna de San Vicente, shortly after their earliest rehearsals. From the beginning, their songs gave voice to the experiences surrounding them, tackling unemployment, discrimination and the struggles of working people with honesty and conviction.

Over the years, Gente del Barro has gone through different line-ups and played countless stages, while preserving the spirit that defined them from the start: raw, street-born rock, inseparable from their roots and from the stories of the people and places that shaped them.

A musician and band member, he developed his connection to music from an early age, influenced by his family and by the Gente del Barro rehearsals he attended as a child. His first guitar was bought for him by his grandmother, with guidance from Pato, an important figure in his musical journey. Over time, he began studying music and gradually took on the roles of musicians who left the group, first joining the band on keyboards. His story reflects a lifelong connection to music, shaped by family, friendship, and the collective experience of making music together.
