This week, Andrew and Dusty are asking the important Bible questions nobody else seems to care about.

Like... what happened to the boat?

When Jesus told the fishermen to cast their nets one more time, they pulled in a massive catch. Then Jesus told them to follow Him, and they left everything behind. But did they literally just leave a boat full of fish sitting there? Did somebody sell it? Did they give the fish away? Did they at least drop the anchor first?

That launches Andrew and Dusty into a conversation about all the random questions that pop into their heads while reading Scripture. The Bible gives us the important parts of these stories, but it doesn't document every conversation or everything that happened before and after the moments we read about.

Then there are the Pharisees. Were these the same Pharisees following Jesus from town to town, or were there different groups everywhere He went? If they were different groups, how did they all seem to know what was happening? Dusty develops a theory involving Pharisee gossip and traveling religious leaders, while Andrew somehow turns it into an ancient Paul Revere riding ahead yelling, "Jesus is coming!"

The questions keep coming.

When did Judas actually start putting money above God? Did the other disciples know he was stealing? When John later describes Judas as a thief, was that completely in hindsight, or had everyone already started getting suspicious of the guy holding the money bag?

And then there's the blind man.

Jesus spits in the dirt, makes mud, puts it on the man's eyes, and tells him to go wash. Did the guy know Jesus had spit in it? Could he hear Jesus spit? How far did this blind man have to walk with mud on his face before reaching the water? Did somebody help him get there?

These aren't necessarily important theological questions... but now Andrew wants answers.

Of course, before any of that happens, the guys spend way too much time arguing about something completely unrelated: Why are people recording themselves inside their homes 24/7?

Dusty thinks it's weird. Andrew thinks it's security. Dusty thinks Andrew is paranoid. Andrew thinks Dusty needs more cameras. Eventually Dusty decides Andrew isn't afraid of government surveillance because Andrew apparently IS the government.

It's another Bible Belt Bros episode filled with rabbit trails, questionable theories, Bible stories, and questions Scripture never really stops to answer.

Because sometimes reading the Bible leaves you with deep theological questions.

And sometimes you just really want to know...
