We throw the word “personality” around a lot, but have you ever stopped to ask—how much of what I call my personality is actually how God created me, and how much of it is stuff I picked up along the way… defense mechanisms, habits, or even sin that needs refining?

In this episode, I break it down into three parts:

• The part of me that really is how God designed me.

• The part that isn’t truly me, but I’ve leaned into for survival or culture.

• And the part that is me, but needs to be polished and sanctified.

  
  

We’ll dive into what it means to be made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), how sin distorts but doesn’t erase that image, and how the Spirit works on things like humor, confidence, and directness so they actually bear fruit.

This isn’t about “self-help” or just saying “that’s how I am.” It’s about letting God’s Word (John 17:17, Galatians 5:22–23) test every part of us—including our personality.

God affirms who we are, but He also transforms how we are.
