Moses stood at the burning bush full of doubt, fear, and excuses, and God met every single one of them with provision. When Moses said the people would not believe him, God gave him signs. When Moses said he could not speak, God reminded him who made his mouth. When Moses finally begged God to send someone else, God provided Aaron and still called Moses to go. This pattern is not unique to Moses. Throughout Scripture, God consistently calls people who feel unqualified and then works through them in ways that cannot be explained by their own strength. His presence is always the provision. Whatever God has placed in front of you, He does not expect you to accomplish it alone or in your own strength. The question is whether you will trust Him enough to take the first step.

Moses and the burning bush is one of Scripture's most familiar stories, but three phrases at its heart carry life-changing weight. When God calls Moses by name, He is not simply locating him. He is saying that He knows the full story, including the pain, the failures, and the fears. When Moses asks who he is, God does not answer with a resume. He answers with His presence. And when God reveals His name, I AM, He is declaring that His character, His faithfulness, and His consistency are the foundation everything else rests on. The same God who saw Israel's affliction in Egypt sees yours today. His presence is not a supplement to your identity. It is the answer to the question itself.

Does God see what you are going through? The opening chapters of Exodus walk straight into that question through slavery, desperation, and tears. Before Moses is even born, God is already at work, multiplying His people just as He promised in Genesis. When suffering intensifies under a new Pharaoh, God works through unlikely people, including midwives, a grieving mother, and a princess, to preserve life and move His plan forward. After chapters of pain and oppression, the story lands on two words that change everything: God saw and God knew. He is not distant or unaware. He sees, He knows, and He acts. And in Christ, He has acted definitively, securing a greater Exodus from sin and death for all who trust in Him.
