In this episode, Allison and Jennifer sit down with Alan Goldenstein from Brain Tune Triad in Winston-Salem to learn more about neurofeedback—a gentle, non-invasive approach designed to help people better understand and support their brain’s patterns.

Alan shares how Brain Tune Triad works with children, adults, and aging loved ones who may be experiencing challenges with focus, sleep, stress, anxiety, brain fog, ADD/ADHD, mental clarity, depression, or big emotions.

This conversation offers an inside look at neurofeedback, who it may help, and what the process is actually like. Whether you’re curious about brain health, looking for new approaches to wellness, or simply want to learn something new, this episode is definitely worth a listen!

A Sandwich Generation Client Story

One Brain Tune Triad client is a mid-40s educator, wife, and mother of four, including a child with special educational and medical needs. For more than 20 years, she has also been the primary caregiver for her disabled father. She carries the constant mental and emotional load of work, parenting, caregiving, and anticipating the next crisis.

After working with Brain Tune Triad for a couple of months, she felt she had more cognitive capacity. She described being able to focus more clearly, shift between responsibilities more easily, and be more present with her father, husband, and children without anxiety consuming her attention.

She sums up the change simply: “I could focus on my father and then be present with my kids, all without the knot in my stomach I’d had for years.”
