    Jeremiah 6:16–20 presents a powerful invitation and a sobering warning. God tells His people to stand at the crossroads, look around, ask for the ancient paths, and walk in the good way. Yet their response is heartbreaking: “We will not walk therein.”

    The passage challenges us to examine the direction of our own lives. We can ask God for guidance while already knowing what He has called us to do. We can pray for His will while resisting His instruction. We can admire the right path without actually walking on it.

    God’s question to Jeremiah’s generation is still worth asking today: Which way are you going?

Their enemies mocked them, threatened them, and attempted to create fear among the people. Yet Nehemiah responded by praying, setting a watch, and reminding the people to remember the Lord.

    In this episode, we look at Nehemiah 4:1-9 and verses 14-15 and consider what happens when opposition comes while we are doing what God has called us to do. The enemy may try to intimidate us, discourage us, or make us afraid—but opposition doesn’t mean God has abandoned the work.

    Sometimes we need to stop looking at the size of the opposition and start remembering the greatness of our God.

    Jesus commanded His followers to go into all the world and teach the truth. But throughout Scripture, we see that not everyone wants to hear that truth.

    Jesus was rejected in His own hometown of Nazareth. Pilate stood face-to-face with Jesus and asked, “What is truth?” And when given the opportunity to release Jesus, the crowd demanded that Barabbas—a thief and criminal—be released instead.

    Paul warned Timothy that a time would come when people would not endure sound doctrine. Instead, they would look for teachers who would tell them what they wanted to hear.

    In this episode, we explore why people reject truth, why they sometimes prefer what is wrong over what is right, and why our responsibility isn’t to change the truth to make people comfortable.

    We are called to proclaim the truth—even when people don’t want to hear it.
