  • 129: {Alumni Series Rerun} Pivoting from Corporate to Running a Dream Business with Kim Moy
    2025/12/17

Have you been considering a pivot from a corporate job to pursue a dream?

I’m thrilled to introduce you today to my client, Kim Moy, a YCC and Mastermind alumni. Kim spent years in a corporate job but knew she was being called to something else.

Her biggest block was that she didn’t know how to get there.

In this episode, Kim shares her journey of how receiving support was instrumental in helping her launch her new venture, Caregiver Wisdom, and how she embraced self-care, got insight into perfectionism, and saw her self-worth from a completely new perspective.

I am so excited to share this inspiring conversation with you. Make sure to tune in to hear simple strategies to pivot your career and life.

The TOP Learnings in this episode:

    • The importance of self-care and prioritization (8:18)
    • Discovering what truly matters to you and living a life of purpose (16:31)
    • The power of coaching and therapy (26:56)

Kim Moy is a coach and caregiver support group leader.

She has been a caregiver for nearly 20 years for her husband who has a debilitating chronic illness, and helped take care of her elderly parents until they passed away a few years ago. At one point she was caregiving for her husband and elderly parents, raising two young children, and managing teams at Silicon Valley companies all at the same time.

Last year she launched Caregiver Wisdom, an online venture that offers coaching, community, and content. It includes a monthly support group, a group course called “Thrive as a Caregiver,” 1-on-1 coaching, an online community, and a blog.

She is also a Zen student.

  • How Judgement is Making Your Visibility Problem Worse
    2025/12/03

Did you know that Asian American women make up less than 3% of leadership in corporate America? Those numbers aren’t about ability—they signal something deeper influencing visibility, leadership, and self-worth.

In this episode of the School of Self-Worth, Nicole Tsong gets personal and practical about one surprising thing making the “visibility” problem worse: judgment.

After years of feeling invisible—the quiet kid who never raised her hand—Nicole candidly shares how judging others became a default coping mechanism. Thoughts like, “Who do they think they are?” or “Why not me?” may feel familiar, but she reveals the truth: judgment never makes space for you, it only reinforces scarcity, hides your gifts, and gives away your power.

If you’ve ever felt unseen, dimmed your own light, or struggled to celebrate other people’s success, then this episode is for you. Let this be your permission slip to stop the scarcity cycle and start seeing (and showing) yourself fully.

THE TOP LEARNINGS IN THIS EPISODE:

    • Feeling Unseen Is Common
    • Judging Others Comes From Judging Yourself
    • Judgment Only Hurts You
    • Seeing Yourself Is Foundational
    • Self-Criticism Masks Progress
    • Acknowledging Truth Fuels Growth
    • Visibility Attracts Opportunity

  • {Best of PODCAST} How to Be Less Emotionally Reactive with Nicole Tsong
    2025/11/19

    Maybe you don’t do this….

But I know I tend to pack a LOT into summer.

Quick weekend trips, longer vacations, social time with friends outside…

…. All on top of the work that never stops.

Suddenly, you find yourself getting short and snappish at work — and with the people you love.

Which is why I’m resharing one of the most powerful episodes we’ve ever shared on the School of Self-Worth.

This one is all about being emotionally reactive at work, and how to shift out of constant reactivity.

The TOP Learnings in this episode:

    • Why you might have never learned (culturally) how to connect to your emotions
    • How that disconnect shows up in performance reviews, meetings, and feedback
    • Simple tools to go from reactive to responsive — without abandoning who you are

This is your mid-year check-in moment: You can grow your leadership without burning out or losing your cool.

If this episode inspired you in some way, take a screenshot of you listening on your device, post it to your Instagram stories, and tag @nicoletsong so we can give you a shout-out and thank you for your support!
