This episode did start on a sad note, RIP to Bashar Barakah Jackson aka Pop Smoke who was 20 years old and his life was cut short on 02/19/2020. This episode DJ NahSla and Will get into other rappers that lost there lives at such a young age. That’s a good conversation discussing drug use and violence in the state of our Hip-Hop culture. The two also discuss some good albums that were released from Jadakiss, Royce Da 5’9”,  and last but not least, Jay Electronica.  A reading from #onthisdayinrapandhiphophistory courtesy of the legend Chuck D as well a some recommendations including an up and coming MC, Chika Big S/O to Hip-Hop By The Numbers for the info on the young rappers.     Remember Rappin' Duke? Duh-ha, duh-ha/You never thought that Hip-Hop would take it this far - The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy. Ya manz is back with a special episode of The Say No More Podcast. Happy 46th Birthday to the culture that made this podcast possible. On August 11th 1973, The father of Hip-Hop DJ Kool Herc aka Clive Campbell threw a Back To School Jam in the Rec Room at 1520 Sedgwick Ave. Bronx, NYC.  From there a culture was born and the world would change forever. This would spark everything from the DJ, to Breakdancing by B-Boys and B-Girls, Graffiti, The M.C. as well as the knowledge.  Check out this episode as DJ NahSla has a conversation with his 13 year old son and guest DJ Mar Mar about what this culture means to them. They get into how DJ NahSla was introduced to the culture and how it has affected everything in his life.
