In this episode, Pastor Anthony Pizarro joins a conversation on the illusion of control and learning to place our lives in God’s hands. Through personal stories and biblical insight, we explore how control shows up in recovery, relationships, parenting, and ministry. We discuss recognizing the warning signs, practicing self-control, trusting others, and surrendering daily to God. This episode’s Saved and Sober challenge:

**What are you holding on to today that you need to put back into God’s hands?**

On this episode, Pastor Pizarro and Jake Wolf discuss the topic of deliverance and recovery.

In our very first episode, we talk about **Saved & Sober—what is it, and why does it matter?** We get into recovery, deliverance, addiction, the importance of community, and what it really means to live a life that is both saved and sober. This is where the conversation begins. **Community. Connection. Christ.**
