TRIGGER WARNING: This episode contains graphic descriptions of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
In this episode of the Good Grief Podcast, host Cindy Burns talks to Sarah Sherman about her traumatic past. Raised in a strict religious environment, Sarah suffered from low self-esteem and was in an abusive relationship. Despite facing numerous challenges, including an abusive partner, postpartum depression, and a high-risk pregnancy, Sarah managed to escape her situation. She shares her experiences of fear, trauma, and resilience and how she now uses her experiences to help others as a survivor of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She also discusses her efforts to provide support and resources to others in similar situations.
