Sanctification is the work God does in the believer, and in this sermon Pastor Aymond Burdett shows why it matters more than ever as a false revival sweeps across the world. He explains why Satan introduces a counterfeit before the true outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and how Isaiah 8:20 gives every believer a Bible test for telling the real from the false.

Preaching from Revelation 13, Psalm 119, Matthew 5, John 17 and James 2, he explains why the law and the gospel belong together, how conviction of sin leads to the new birth, and what true Bible sanctification looks like in a believer's life. He turns to Daniel's prayer of confession and Abraham's trust in the Promiser as examples of the humble, obedient faith that Scripture describes, a faith that is more than the "easy religion" so common today.

If you want a clearer Bible study of sanctification, or you are asking how to spot a false revival in these last days, this message points you back to God's Word and to the righteousness of Christ as our only hope.
