The Summer convention season is still swinging big, from Anime Expo taking place at the beginning of July to San Diego Comic Con just having wrapped up this past weekend. With all of these major conventions happening in a short time frame there surely can't be many new or exciting announcements for the anime and manga fandoms, right? WRONG! SDCC surprised many with an enormous amount of manga announcements from publishers big and small across Japan! In fact, more manga publishers were present and presenting at SDCC than had been in attendance at Anime Expo! Crazy, right?! With all of the announcements over the weekend, Frankfurtter and MagicallyAverage decided to breakdown the many announcements made from the publishers and give their thoughts on the current trends they are seeing in the manga market!
