Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is being hung out to dry by his American employers. Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy have plunged the club into an investigation, which could result in a points deduction, by their refusal to pay the agreed sum to purchase the Blades. Thirty-five-million-pounds is still outstanding and owed to former owner Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. A High Court hearing, brought by the Saudi, took just ten seconds last week to impose a winding up order on COH Sports Bidco, the company set up by the Americans, to buy United. The Americans were not present and didn't offer any defence. Since then, they have not made any comment. Meanwhile, in the absence of anyone else, including chief executive Stephen Bettis, Wilder is being sent out to field questions he really isn't in a position to answer.
