This week, we’re getting into the world of public vs private golf clubs. Is a private membership actually worth the money? Or are public courses where the real fun happens?

We talk about the differences in cost, culture, etiquette, accessibility, and the sometimes ridiculous unspoken rules of golf clubs.

From fancy clubhouses and pristine fairways to casual rounds with complete strangers, we’re sharing our experiences, challenging a few stereotypes, and debating whether paying thousands for a membership really makes golf any better.

Because at the end of the day, is private golf actually better… or just more expensive? 👀

Let’s get into it. 🎙️

It started with golf. Then came the obsession. Then somehow… Skyball happened.

This week, we’re properly introducing ourselves and getting into how we found golf, how it completely took over our lives, and how two very different people somehow trauma-bonded over a tiny white ball.

We talk about where we came from, what golf has given us (and taken from us 🥲), why we wanted to create Skyball, and the kind of golf community we actually want to be part of.

Basically, if you’ve been wondering who are these two and why did they start a golf podcast?

This is the episode. 🎙️
