The birth of her first child was profoundly life-altering in the most beautiful way. Inspired by that experience, Brooke felt called to support others in their own journeys and began her transition into birth work, attending her first birth as a doula in 2006.
Throughout her years of serving women and families, she has been blessed to learn from exceptional mentors both locally and internationally.
Brooke is deeply passionate about providing families with evidence-based information and genuine choices so they can make independent, informed decisions for themselves and their babies. She has a special love for educating about breech and twin births at home and prioritizes ongoing education.
Over the years, Brooke has also served on the Board of Directors for North Carolina Friends of Midwives, the North Carolina Herb Association, and the Carolina Birth Alliance.
