S3EP2: ALL THINGS LOVE LANGUAGES! When you want him to buy you flowers but don't want to him to want to buy you flowers just because you want them!

In this episode the Suddenly Twenties girls bring a chit chat style episode about love languages!! Just be ware - Steph is obsessed with the concept of love languages like a star sign girl is with the time and place you were born! We discuss the love languages in detail as per the original book that they were discussed in. We talk about how physical touch isn't just about someone wanting sexy time, but rather about how you express love or feel loved through affection. We discuss how receiving gifts or words of affirmation are not love languages assigned to only the vain or materialistic, but rather are those who appreciate the thought or kind words to confirm love. And finally we dive deep into the meaning behind quality time and acts of service, as there are some of our top love languages!

The suddenly twenties girls also discuss how we think love languages can be seen as a split that can be evenly disrupted across all 5 love languages or have strong 100% love language forms.

We also bring you interesting questions about love languages and reflect on whether ours have changed over time, from relationship to relationship, are only strong when we don't receive X love language and if our test results reflect what we also feel we needed or wanted in childhood from our parents. Steph is a big believer in linking love languages to attachment styles, and your relationships with your parents!

This episode was cut into 2 parts, the first part is gals chat about love languages and the second part we bring our boyfriends on to do the test with us and see which couple knows which best by writing our answers on a whiteboard!!
