While many anglers don a wetsuit in pursuit of striped bass, very few take it to the next level by strapping on fins and swimming—sometimes several hundred yards—out into the surf at night to fish isolated reefs and rockpiles. But that's exactly what Calvin does!

In addition to discussing the gear, conditions, and techniques that make this style of fishing possible, the guys explore how Calvin's extreme dedication gives him an advantage over his fellow surfcasters. Of course, there's also the giant elephant in the room: SHARKS! From great whites to brown sharks, Calvin shares some of his encounters with these apex predators and explains how he deals with them, both mentally and physically.
