  • The Sports OrthoPods discuss Zion Williamson's complications following  foot surgery in the off season.  We previously discussed his injury when  it was first disclosed at NBA Media Day that he sustained a Jones  Fracture in the off season and underwent surgical repair.  While this is  surgery with a high success rate, there have been NBA players in the  past who have not had a smooth recovery.  Unfortunately, that is the  case with Zion.  We discuss the news of a biologic injection given to  Zion to try and stimulate bone healing, the chances of success at this  point, and the possibility of further surgery needed in the future.
