Host Stephen Riordan welcomes director Debbie Yones and actor Weston Allen Kemp regarding their upcoming production of Adam Rapp’s Nocturne

• Production Overview: Nocturne is an intense, 70-minute one-man play focusing on a former piano prodigy confronting his sister’s death after 15 years, exploring themes of grief, trauma, and recovery.
• Series Context: The performance is part of The Off Central’s "Think Inside the Box" series, which prioritizes impactful, thought-provoking stories that might not fit a traditional main-stage season.
• Community Engagement: To foster deeper conversation, the production includes post-show talkbacks:
  • Saturday: Featuring psychologist Dr. Adam Miller to discuss men's mental health and PTSD.
  • Sunday: Featuring writer Jenny Saine and visual artist Becca McCoy to discuss the role of art in therapy and healing.
• The Off Central’s Mission: The theater emphasizes selecting scripts that spark meaningful post-show dialogue, maintaining a space where artists and audience members can explore difficult subjects safely.
• Logistics: The production runs September 25–27, with additional season information and tickets available at www.theoffcentral.com
