We are back from a long break! It was unfortunately needed as numerous of busy "events" happened that made doing the podcast a little impossible for both Swade and Walter.

On this episode, Fake Film Fans focuses on "A Useful Ghost" (aka ใช้ได้ค่ะ), a Thai arthouse drama comedy film directed by Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke released in 2025. The film stars the popular thai actress Davika Hoorne (aka Mai Davika/ดาวิกา โฮร์เน่). The film also stars Apasiri Nitibhon and Wanlop Rungkumjad. The film is about a woman who comes back as a ghost by possessing a vacuum cleaner because of love, but ends up being used to help completely disappear political dissidents from society's memory completely.

(00:00:58) We first catch up with each other's lives in our 3 year break. (00:21:07) Once we get into the film, we discuss about the ghost metaphor, how we forget the dead politically and socially and who we'd like to bring back as vacuum cleaners. (01:30:36) Check out the ending too to listen to what we will be watching next year and our socials!
