A quietly unsettling tale of a solitary visit to an ancient site…

“Despite the desire path letting me know that I was far from the first to visit, nobody else was in sight…”

This is Haunted UK Fiction’s Flash Fiction Friday, original short-form stories of the supernatural, the monstrous, and the unknown.

In today’s Flash Fiction episode, we present The Devil’s Arrows by Harrie Tabor, a quietly unsettling tale of a solitary visit to an ancient site

If you enjoyed this story, continue your listening with:

Running from the Christmas Tractor also by Harrie Tabor for a short Holiday-themed horror

Echoes in the Mist by Michele Liddle for an atmospheric, ancient feeling story

One Always Comes Back by Robert McDermott for another tale tied to legends and lore

About the Author:

Harrie is, in her words, finally getting her act together and actually writing some stories, instead of just daydreaming about writing some stories.

She loves the look of stained glass, thinks fancy rats are extremely underrated as pets and, because this is a Christmas-themed episode, would like to share that her current advent calendar record is 15. Maybe one day she'll reach those dizzying heights again.

She hopes you enjoy listening to this episode and encourages you to support your nearest Christmas Tractor Run. You get to look at pretty lights, help support great causes, and don't worry, it probably won't be haunted. Probably.
