Michigan State Spartans face critical roster battles ahead of the 2026-27 season. Antonio Pemberton, the No. 8 PG recruit, is poised to start while Jaxon Kohler departs for BYU. Tony and Brooke analyze the impact of these moves on spacing and rim protection.

The departure of Jaxon Kohler creates a void in the frontcourt, forcing a shift to a faster, more perimeter-oriented style. New Athletic Director Dan Bartholomae’s arrival adds administrative context to the roster changes. The hosts discuss how these shifts affect Big Ten competitiveness.

Key topics include Pemberton’s immediate role, the defensive implications of losing a fifth-year forward, and predictions for who trends up or down. The episode highlights the strategic adjustments needed for opening night against a tough Big Ten schedule.

In this episode: The Point Guard Battle: Pemberton Starts · Frontcourt Void: Kohler's Departure · AD Change & Roster Predictions.
