  • Why Making Friends as an Adult Feels So Hard
    2025/10/10

Moving to a new city as an adult can feel so exciting, but the loneliness and challenges you face when you start over is rarely talked about. Making friends can feel harder when those built-in social structures disappear. No school, no shared routines, just you intentionally putting yourself out there to break out of your shell, and build connections from scratch.

If you’ve ever felt this too, this episode about learning how to build community is for you xo

  • I Think I Have OCD
    2025/08/22

In this episode, I talk about why I think I might have OCD. This is a self-diagnosis based on years of patterns, thoughts, and behaviors I didn’t have words for — until recently. For a long time, I silently struggled with mental rumination, until it began to affect my daily life in a real and overwhelming way. While I’m now on the path toward finding therapy, I wanted to share my story for anyone who feels alone or is struggling with their mental health. I also touch on some common myths about OCD and share a few coping mechanisms that have helped me personally. Just to be clear — this is not medical advice. I’m not a licensed professional. I’m simply speaking from my own experience, hoping it resonates with someone out there.

  • Building Financial Freedom with Sam & Ali of The Wealthy Gays
    2025/08/14

I’m so excited to introduce you to my guests, Sam and Ali — aka The Wealthy Gays.

They’re newlyweds navigating their finances together for the first time, and in this episode we dig into what financial freedom really looks like for queer couples. We also get into how building wealth is a personal journey, and it looks different for each of us.

We talk about setting goals that reflect your own values, budgeting without shame, having open (and sometimes tough) money conversations with your partner, and unlearning the beliefs that hold us back. It’s candid, hopeful, and full of great takeaways.

    Enjoy :)

    2025/07/17

Welcome Ann Russo—an LGBTQ+ mental health advocate, educator, and founder of AMR Therapy, which has supported over 1,500 clients in the past four years.

With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Ann brings a blend of professional training and lived experience to the table. She holds a Master’s in Theology and has made it her mission to bridge the gap between faith, identity, trauma, and healing—especially for queer communities.

In this conversation, Ann opens up about growing up in a queer household in the 80s, the realities of mental health challenges queer people face today and what it was like attending a religious conversion therapy conference as a queer woman. Yes, you read that right.

She also shares many insights from her work—whether she’s training hospitals or therapists—on how we can all better support the queer community LGBTQ+ with care.
