Temptation Resort has always been a little confusing (to us). It's not quite a lifestyle resort, not quite a vanilla resort. It's not clothing optional but also not exactly clothing required either. It somehow manages to exist in a category all its own without being creepy or weird, which is quite an accomplishment tbh.

It's not our first trip here, so before heading back, we made a list.

Are there actually lifestyle couples there? Are single guys really as bad as people say? How strict are the photo rules? What can you wear right to the edge of "OMG what is she wearing?" Where can you wear it? And what happens if you decide the balcony is part of your 'bedroom'? There are also a few Temptation urban legends we've heard for years that seemed overdue for some highly unscientific testing.

We packed up our gear and travelled to the site they call: Temptation Cancun Resort.

Four days later, we came home tired, tan and mildly traumatized, but with actual answers to some of the questions. Some are and will forever be the mystery that Temptation Resort is.

A romantic anniversary getaway to a vanilla resort sounds lovely—until you realize everything is boring. It took a reptile assault for a stranger just to speak to us.

This month, we’re talking about the lifestyle experiences that intrigue us but still scare the hell out of us. This week starts with one of those stories that makes everyone stop and go, "Wait... what?"

A listener shares a hookup that took a turn he never saw coming, leaving Richard with about a hundred questions, Lauren with a few clinical observations, and all of us wondering how we'd react if we found ourselves in the exact same situation.
