    Rockland Road is a six-member family band, all named Martin, blending country, gospel, pop, and Americana. Led by Grammy-winner Paul Martin (Exile) and wife Jamie (daughter of Oak Ridge Boys’ Duane Allen), the band includes their four musically gifted children. With soulful harmonies and multi-instrumental talent, they’ve performed everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry to the White House—and even for the NBA and MLB.

    Ronny Criss, known for his gritty, heartfelt blend of country, pop, and rock, has had music featured on Grey’s Anatomy and collaborated with top Nashville talent. His debut solo album Highways drew acclaim, and his upcoming release Hurricane Heart—featuring the legendary McCrary Sisters—further cements him as one of Nashville’s rising stars.

    On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville edition, we are joined by country music artists, Taylor Hughes and Jay Valor!

    TAYLOR HUGHES

    Country artist and songwriter, Taylor Hughes, is not your typical country artist. With southern rock and blues influences, she delivers a powerful, unique, and sassy sound that demands attention. Native of Lexington, Kentucky, she now resides in Nashville where she's made quite a name for herself. Award winning Gospel singer and vocal coach, Christy Sutherland, describes Hughes' voice as "rich chocolate cake with soul" along with being called "Country music's answer to Adele" in the Tennessee Star Magazine.

    After releasing her debut single, “Good Taste,” in 2020, hitting iHeart Radio and multiple other stations, here sophomore single,“Prayin’ to the Whiskey,” got her the attention she truly deserved. She was nominated for “Emerging International Artist of the Year” in the UK followed by “Prayin’ to the Whiskey” being nominated for “International Song of the Year” in Ireland, making the final top 10. She closed out the year being in the final top 5 artists for the Southern Fellow’s “Artist of the Year” for the second year in a row.

    Her third single, “High On Something,” was released at the end of 2021 and it charted in the top 100 on the Texas Internet Radio Charts and continues to climb up daily. Along with this success, she was nominated in the 2022 Josie Music Awards for "Female Country Vocalist of the Year" and the "Fan's Choice" award. Hughes was making waves long before moving to music city though. She has been nominated in the Lexington Music Awards for best female vocalist, best country artist, best singer-songwriter, and song of the year; winning in 2016, 2018 and 2019. She has opened and shared the stage with artists such as Chase Rice, Riley Green, Uncle Kracker, Sam Riggs, Morgan Myles, Angaleena Presley (Pistol Annies), Striking Matches, Leah Turner, Alexandra Kay, Uncle Kracker, and more.

    2024 started off amazing for this incredible talent as well. Hughes was named the 2024 "Female Vocalist of the Year" along with her song "Jesus and Jail" winning "Song of the Year" in the 10th annual Lexi Music Awards in Kentucky. She received two nominations in the '24 Josie Music Awards which were held at the Grand Ole Opry and was awarded "Southern Rock/ Country Rock Female Vocalist of the Year."

    JAY VALOR

    Jay Valor is a country artist with a rock edge, whose commanding vocals and relatable lyrics captivate audiences everywhere. With a passion for songwriting, Valor skillfully intertwines poetic lyrics with melodic guitar riffs, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in a world of heartfelt storytelling.     1996 the members of country super group Ricochet watched their debut single, “What Do I Know”, rise to the Top 5 earning the band the honor of the highest charting debut single of the year. The follow up single release, “Daddy’s Money”, became an immediate across the board hit, rising to #1 on the Radio & Records Country Singles Chart, the Gavin Country Singles Chart and the Billboard Country Singles Chart (where it stayed #1 for two consecutive weeks). The band’s distinctive musical style and intricate harmonies earned them the recognition as one of the most popular vocal groups in country music, a mantle they still wear today

    Now, more than fifteen years later, “The Hardest Working Band In Country Music” is still going strong. The band continues to create great country music, sung with the distinctive harmonies that are their hallmark. They log thousands of miles on the road each year thrilling audiences of all ages across the United States and abroad.

Through his determination to carry on his father’s legacy and put a stamp on the world with his own, he hit the ground, full steam ahead writing and performing his own music. Jason blends country, rock and blues together to present the world with his own unique style of music.

    This has brought him national and global accolades winning awards and nominations as well as an invitation to host including 2024 International Red Carpet Awards Show (Host and nominee, Holland), Nominated EP of the Year (2023 Josie Music Awards, Nashville, TN) and Best of Original Country Pop Artist (2023 Fair Play Country Music, International Red Carpet Awards Show, Holland) most recently.

    Jason has had the privilege to share stages with Easton Corbin, Aaron Tippin, Moonshine Bandits, Jesse James from Jackyl, Scotty Austin from Saving Abel, and Tracy Lawrence as well as an official after party for Firehouse. Jason always has a song and a smile for everyone he meets and enjoys being able to perform a multitude of genres while staying true to each one.     On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville edition, we are joined by country music artists and celebrities, Chad Brock, singer/songwriter, Bailey Marie, and founder of the Wounded Blue and Fox News Contributor, Randy Sutton!

    CHAD BROCK

    Chad Brock (born July 31, 1963) is an American country music singer and disc jockey. Before beginning his musical career in the late 1990s, he was a professional wrestler in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), until an injury forced him to retire.

    Brock signed to Warner Bros. Records' Nashville division in the late 1990s, releasing three studio albums – 1998's Chad Brock, 2000's Yes!, and 2001's III — for WB. Those albums, overall, produced seven singles on the Billboard country music charts, including the number-one hit "Yes!" and the Top Five "Ordinary Life". Brock parted company with Warner Bros. in 2002, and signed to Broken Bow Records a year later; although he released five singles for them (of which four charted), his album for Broken Bow was not released, and he left that label as well.

    Brock also began a career in the late 2000s as a disc jockey at WQYK-FM in Tampa, Florida, where he and parody singer Cledus T. Judd co-host a morning show.

    RANDY SUTTON

    Lieutenant Randy Sutton (Ret.) is a distinguished figure in the law enforcement community. With over 34 years of service, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

    Sutton founded the Wounded Blue as a means to support injured and disabled law enforcement officers. As the Chair of the Board of Directors, he leads initiatives aimed at providing assistance and resources to those who have sacrificed for the safety of others.

    In addition to his contributions in law enforcement, Sutton is a prolific author, and his insights have earned him appearances in movies and TV shows, solidifying his reputation as the "voice of American law enforcement."

    BAILEY MARIE

    Bailey is a singer/songwriter and national recording artist in addition to being an actor.She has performed across the country at legendary places such as the Apollo Theater in NYC and the Roxy in Hollywood. She has been honored to perform the National Anthem for professional sports as well as NASCAR.
