ROBBIE SAVAGE EXCLUSIVE | The Truth About Peterborough United
In a very special edition of UpThePoshcast, Ashley and John sit down with new Peterborough United manager Robbie Savage for an exclusive, in-depth conversation about football, management, family and the future of the Posh.
Robbie reveals what opposition managers told him about his new squad, discusses the lack of belief and accountability within the dressing room and explains how he intends to rebuild the team's confidence.
We explore his high-intensity tactical philosophy, the players who have impressed him, his plans for recruitment and why he believes Peterborough United can eventually return to the Championship.
The conversation also takes a personal turn as Robbie reflects on his playing career, the managers who influenced him, his experiences at Macclesfield and Forest Green, the difficult circumstances surrounding his appointment and the emotional pressures of football management.
An honest, insightful and occasionally emotional conversation offering supporters a chance to understand the man now tasked with turning Peterborough United's fortunes around.
