  • Awareness - My Body Gets a Voice, Too
    2026/08/30
What happens when Awareness moves out of the mind and into the body?

While studying Chakra Psychology and working toward staying rooted in the heart, Nadia begins noticing something she can no longer ignore: her body has been participating in the conversation all along.

Against the backdrop of caregiving, motherhood, PTSD symptoms, nervous-system overload, physical pain, and an unexpected COVID diagnosis, this episode explores what Nadia describes as an embodied shift—the moment an insight stops being something we understand and begins changing how we actually live.

Through the lens of Root Chakra work and the lower triangle of survival, attachment, and control, Nadia asks whether love and capacity might be two different things.

Can we deeply love the people in our lives while acknowledging that our bodies have limits?
Can we create boundaries without making someone else wrong?
Can self-preservation actually be an expression of love?

And what happens when we stop requiring our bodies to completely break down before we're willing to listen?

Your body gets a voice, too.

  • Awareness - Who Inside Me Is Answering?
    2026/08/27
Before asking, “What should I do?” what if we first asked, “Who inside me is answering?”

In this deeply personal episode of Rising From Shame, Nadia explores the identities that can quietly make our decisions for us: the wounded child seeking approval, the Savior who needs to rescue, and the Warrior who has learned to survive by solving impossible problems.

As Nadia wrestles with one of the hardest decisions of her life—how best to care for her aging mother—she begins recognizing how love, guilt, approval, sacrifice, and identity can become intertwined.

What happens when the qualities that once helped us survive begin costing us our ability to fully live?

This episode explores Awareness not as fixing or changing ourselves, but as learning to recognize who is driving before deciding where we're going.

Maybe the Warrior doesn't need to die.

    Maybe she gets to rest.
