Daniel Van Gelderen traces Joshua’s response to Israel’s defeat at Ai and God’s directions concerning Achan’s hidden sin in Joshua 7–8. His four applications—get up, clean up, look up, and buckle up—move from listening to God and confessing sin to trusting His promises and expecting His power in renewed service. The sermon addresses dishonesty, disobedience, impurity, anger, and other hidden struggles while emphasizing that believers need God’s grace rather than the ability to repair their lives alone.
